When life feels hopeless, sometimes suicide appears to be the only alternative, especially for teenagers. How can churches become a safe place to talk about difficult issues such as suicide? When teenagers are grappling with the idea of suicide, they are likely to turn to a trusted mentor. Such a person may be their youth pastor or youth group leader.
