Development strategies in the cities of developing countries are integrating the policy of conservation in the mainstream of planning for sustainability. The Khulna City, the third largest metropolitan city of Bangladesh has need devoted for an effort to conserve its heritages. Khulna City and its surrounding areas are unique and rich in terms of history and heritage. The ultimate intention of the study will be to identify conservation potentials of heritages in the Khulna city, explore historical and cultural significance, community consensus building for conservation needs and propose conservation measures for individual heritage sites.

During his Masters in Urban and Rural Planning Discipline, Khulna University he devoted to research on Heritage planning. He works at Dhaka as a principal Architect & CEO of vision consultants.
