Herpetological Resources of Abeokuta

Herpetological resources of Abeokuta, Nigeria is a product of research work aimed at determining the abundance, diversity, patterns of distribution and activities of herpetofauna in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. Special emphasis is laid on species abundance by seasons and ecological sites. It provides general perception of people of the area on herps and profers suggested ways of managing the resources on a sustainable way.

Dr. Oluyinka A. Akintunde is a lecturer in the Department of Forestry and Wildlife Management, at College of Environmental Resources Management, University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria. He was graduated from the same University with Bachelor of Fisheries and Wildlife Management, Masters of Wildlife Management and Ph.D in Wildlife Management.
