Heterocycles: A Green Synthetic Approach and Biological Significance

This book contains the results of research obtained while working on a doctoral dissertation at the Department of Chemistry, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. This book consists of six chapters which include an introduction, green sustainable synthesis and antimicrobial activity of synthesized heterocycles. The use of nanoparticles as catalyst, water as reaction medium, the use of alternate energy sources are some of the important highlights of techniques used.

Dr. Prakash Giri Goswami, Assistant Professor at Govt. Girls College, Banswara, Rajasthan. He has completed B.Sc. and M.Sc. from MLSU, Udaipur. He completed his Ph.D. from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur and during his research he received CSIR-SRF Fellowship. He has specialization in organic synthesis and green technology.
