Higher education: the challenges of quality in basic education

Based on his practice, the author sought to analyze basic education and its influence on higher education. This work reflects the need to improve basic education so that students in higher education can overcome the challenges and go on to study the course of their dreams, in this case Civil Engineering. The challenges of basic education have a direct influence on higher education. So what to do? The answers aren't ready, but the reflections and analysis help to understand the whole context. Er schloss sein Studium der Mathematik an der Bundesuniversität von Minas Gerais ab und spezialisierte sich auf vergleichende Mathematik an der Escola Superior Aberta do Brasil. Derzeit schließt er seinen Master in Mathematik an der Bundesuniversität von Ouro Preto ab. Seit 2006 arbeitet er als Lehrer in der Primar- und Hochschulbildung.
