It is important to study histology for functional correlation of the anatomical structure and clinical correlation of the pathological condition of various anatomical structures. Overall histology forms the foundation of study of medical sciences. After going through various textbooks and reference books the students get knowledge of histology but at the time of examination, students have the problem of presenting it systematically during practical examination. So a humble attempt is made by the author to prepare this exercise book from an exam point of view. It includes questions on all aspects of histology along with some commonly asked important tricky viva questions from gross, embryo and applied aspect of related histology slide. This exercise book will be very interesting and helpful when solved on regular basis. The book is provided with spaces for drawing histological diagrams, of all general and systemic histology slides and their two identification points along with spaces provided for answering the given questions. Author hopes that this exercise book will help excel all the students, undergraduate and postgraduate, studying histology in medical and paramedical sciences.

Dr. Nilima Prakashrao Patil working as associate professor in department of Anatomy at SVNGMC, Yavatmal, India, is an eminent teacher in anatomy at undergraduate and post graduate level since last 10 years. She has completed her MBBS from JNMC, Sawangi Wardha and completed her Masters degree in Anatomy from SRTRGMC, Ambejogai, Maharashtra, India.
