History of Fashion Designing

Fashion is a booming and prominent industry that reveals identity, allows for expression, and provides an opportunity for growth and change. The history of fashion is fascinating and filled with culture. It is crucial to understand the general fashion history timeline and the evolution of fashion to appreciate what kind of impact fashion has had on society and communities. Fashion trends have come and gone throughout the years, but they usually tend to align with current social change. For example, women's fashion beauty standards have changed and become less rigid when it comes to gendered clothing. Women wear pants and do not have to wear corsets anymore because beauty standards have evolved along with fashion. As values and society change, fashion changes. As people change and evolve their identities, their own fashion choices change. Even as people age, fashion evolves because of a shift in identity that comes along with the human experience of aging. Fashion grows and changes with people and has changed drastically in many ways since the very beginning of fashion history in the Roman Empire and Egypt.
