HIV infection in Kinshasa

In ten years of research into Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection in Kinshasa, several scientific articles have been published, presented at conferences or public seminars. Of the 104 articles listed here, 88 are published in English-language scientific journals, while 16 are in French. Ninety-two articles were published with 3 or more authors, while 12 were published with fewer than 3 authors. The most represented institution in terms of first author affiliation is the University of Kinshasa with 57 publications, followed by Associations and/or Research Groups, and other universities in the city. The most popular research fields are Medical Sciences, followed by Social Sciences and Education Sciences, with 3 publications each. Forty-two articles come from local inter-institutional collaborations, while 56 articles come from international collaborations.
