This book entitled "HIV Status & Factors Associated Among HIV Exposed Infants Under PMTCT, Dire Dawa" was written after watching the multi directional problem that has been faced in Ethiopia regarding mother to child transmission of HIV/AIDS. The problem becomes serious when a mother who is the pillar of a household is affected by the virus and is unable to serve the family as she used to give care. Not only this but also the problem becomes grave when the exposed infant becomes positive. Therefore action has to be taken by all stake holders to avert this hardship.
