Stigma and discrimination is a social construction which dramatically affect the life experiences of the individuals.Although HIV/AIDS epidemic prevention and control efforts have identified tackling stigma and discrimination as one of five key imperatives for success. National and global actors have had limited success in alleviating the delirious effects of HIV/AIDS stigma and discrimination on utilization of prevention and treatment services. At the same time, stigma reduction efforts are relegated by health providers in health facilities creating a barrier to services utilization among different population groups including female commercial sex workers.
