HMS Urania (R05) was an U-class destroyer of the British Royal Navy that saw service during World War II. She was later converted into a Type 15 fast anti-submarine frigate, with the new pennant number F08. and saw service in the Mediterranean fleet, with Ursa, Undine and Ulysees. They collectively took part in the Suez and Cyprus activities before returning home circa Feb. 1956. Commander Callingham was the captain of Urania.
