She served during the First and Second World Wars. She was launched on 14 March 1918 and was sold for scrap in February 1948. Wolfhound was commissioned too late to see much active service in the First World War. She spent the war as part of the 13th Destroyer Flotilla with the Grand Fleet, and was assigned to the 2nd Destroyer Flotilla with the Atlantic Fleet in 1921.
