The book entitled "Honeydew-The milk of paradise" covers different aspects of Honeydew from its production to its benefits. Insects are affecting the human activities in different ways playing their role in the field of agriculture as well as human health. Insects are essentially significant for the ecology of terrestrial ecosystems. During the current situations, insects have been used as research subjects in a large portion of modern biology. This book contains eight chapters in which, authors have tried to cover all the information available on Honeydew. In writing the first edition, the aim is to provide all basic and advanced information about Honeydew. This book may contribute to the understanding of honeydew, honeydew honey and as a result, inspire research in the areas covered, so increasing the productive chain and improving quality control of these products for safe use. The information given on Honeydew may be helpful for the students of graduation, post graduation and doctoral degrees. The book may also help in opening new dimensions of research in the field of Entomology and Zoology.

O autor concluiu o seu Mestrado (Agri.) em Entomologia Agrícola pelo Dr. BSKKV, Dapoli e prosseguiu o seu Doutoramento (Agri.) em Entomologia Agrícola pela JNKVV, Jabalpur. Foi também bolseiro do ICAR-SRF durante o seu doutoramento. Publicou 34 publicações de investigação. Recebeu também um prémio de Bolseiro de Investigação de Destaque e um prémio de Melhor Cartaz.
