Hope in the Midst of Despair

The book is a sombre analysis of the post 2000 era in Zimbabwe which is characterized by economic meltdown. A hyper-inflation environment where everyone is a billionaire. basic commodities are scare, water rationing, power cuts due to load shedding and fuel becomes scarce. This is a Zimbabwe where the black market becomes the only official market where people hoard the basic commodities and it becomes a dog eat dog situation. The book celebrates the resilience of the ordinary man to transcend above everyday challenges and survive at such a critical time. The author poses a lot of reasons that have led to such anarchy in Zimbabwe and urges people to transcend above all these challenges so as to re-build the nation and thrive for unity, peace and harmony. Gova illuminates on the Zimbabwean Experience "at our darkest hour" therefore it is a must read for everyone.

Faith Gova was born on the 8th of August 1982 last born in the family of five. A holder of a B.A hons degree in English 2002to 2005. Also a holder of a Masters degree in English (M.A) from 2008 to 2010 all obtained from the University of Zimbabwe. Currently staying in Zimbabwe where he lectures and studies.
