Human Resource Interventions in the Government Departments

The book would deal with understanding the concept of Human Resource Management (HRM) and the element of Human Resource Interventions (HRIs) in connection with workplace dynamics, leadership traits, fundamentals of ethics and ethical values, element of motivation at work, notion of rightful employee engagement in the workplace, job satisfaction affecting employee and the element of organizational development. Further to this, identification of research gap leading to key research questions has been highlighted. The key focus of the book revolves around creation of a research scale in the name of PAHRI-PD Scale.The result of the scale derived after being administered to a selected sample of respondents have been discussed at the end of the book referring to significant workplace implications in this connection.The uniqueness of the book lies in careful handling of the sensitive public sector system in the state democratic mechanism.The present book thus is an attempt to create an enabling tool to reframe & rejuvenate the work life of employees in the selected departments in the Government of West Bengal towards enhancement of productivity in the public domain.
