Human Resource Management: Some Reflections

This book is based on the research experiences with reference to various companies and also different environmental conditions. The findings of various studies were based on the perceptions of different participants during the particular period. It contains both theoretical and practical issues on human resource management. The important issues covered were: human resource function, recent trends in recruitment, new initiatives in human resource development, education and skill development in the new environment, some issues on managing diversity, work-life-balance in the new era, quality management, quality of work life, quality circles, employee participation schemes, collective bargaining, social security, human factor in various sectors like co-operative sector, corporate sector, insurance sector, informal sector and other areas. PROF. SATYA RAJU, had consistently brilliant academic record. Obtained Ph.D. from Andhra University in the area of HRM. Published several research papers in National & International journals. He had over three and half decades of teaching, research, training and consultancy experience at Andhra University. Attended various programmes at ISB & IIMs.
