Human Resource Practices for Better Employee Performance

Organizations today are facing critical challenges in managing their employees. They are investing more in utilities than focusing on employees as the basic tenet for company success. This has made many employees to have the tendency of withdrwaing their efforts from work. This has resulted into poor performance of many organizations. This book therefore, provides a critical anaysis on how proper rewards, recruitment and training of employees can translate into business success of any organizations. It provides both theoretical and analytical approaches to understanding the employee behaviors. It also gives appropriate strategies to be adopted by human resource officer/mamagers in handling employees and sustaining their efforts for better perfromance. This book provides new techniques to respond to the global challenges of management. It examines management practices which organizations can use to allign their resources for better rewards, recruitment and training in order to achieved better output and good perfromance from her employees.

NGOLE Benedict est maître de conférences au département de philosophie de l'université de Makerere, en Ouganda. Il est candidat au doctorat. Il travaille également comme consultant associé à des projets avec le secteur des ONG dans les domaines de la recherche, de la formation et du renforcement des capacités. Ngole est titulaire d'une maîtrise en administration des affaires (MBA) de l'UMI et d'une licence en philosophie de l'Urbaniana, à Rome.
