Human Rights in Tourism
Details
There are few studies addressing the interconnections between human rights and tourism. This study is particularly significant as it seeks to explore the role of national legislation in incorporating human rights issues into tourism agenda. It tackles together the areas of tourism and human rights which have been subject to considerable research, but often in parallel rather than tackling these areas together. It particularly addresses the issue of realization of the human right to development of communities living within or adjacent to areas where the natural resources and tourism investments are located.
