Hybridität und Spiel

For the first time, this volume combines international and interdisciplinary approaches and research questions on the romance novel and adventure novel, thus furnishing insights into the history of the two genres. In addition to hybridity', a relatively recent term used to describe the mélange of different genres and narratives, the concept of aesthetic play' suggests creative possibilities yet to be explored.
