MNEs setting up subsidiaries in emerging markets face the ongoing question to what extent they can transfer their home-grown or global organizational models. This book looks at how the cross-border transfer of production models in MNEs is related to strategic choices of firms and different kinds of contextual differences between countries.

FLORIAN BECKER-RITTERSPACH is Assistant Professor at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands, at the department of International Business and Management. His international career involved studies and research stays at the Humboldt University of Berlin, The New School of Social Research, New York and recently at the Social Science Research Center Berlin (WZB). Specializing on the Indian automobile industry and cross-border transfers of organizational forms and practices within the context multinational corporations, he has presented his work at various international conferences and journals.
