Hydraulic Ram Pump with Water Recirulation System

This Research Paper was part of a project undertook by a team of three members namely, Bibek Sapkota, Gopal Pandey and Utsav Kharel and was supervised by Deputy Head of Mechanical Engineering of Thapathali Campus, Er. Raj kumar Chaulagain.The basic idea and the drive force for the project was to determine how the existing Hydraulic Ram Pump could be used and modified in order to reduce the water being wasted and to enhance efficiency and delivery height of the pump.The design, dimensions, orientations of the pump is modified to serve the best purpose and accordingly the testing of the pump was done. Utsav is a Mechanical Engineer by profession having graduated in 2017 from Thapathali Campus, IOE, Tribhuwan University, Nepal. He is a sport enthusiast, analyst, reader, traveler and a good listener. In his own words, he is unpredictable, lethargic but lethal kind of a guy.
