Hypertension:Stepping stone of autoimmunity

Hypertension is major threat to life and its prevalence has been increased throughout the world in past few decades. It has been documented that hypertension leads to a number of diseases such as stroke, cardiac failure, renal failure, peripheral vascular disease etc. Therefore, this particular study was designed to investigate the role of hypertension in the initiation and progression of autoimmunity.

M. Imran Sohail is a Lecturer of Zoology at GC University Lahore, Pakistan. He received his M.Sc degre (with distinction) in Zoology and M.Phil degree with specialization in Immunology from GC University Lahore. During his six years career he has taught biochemistry, genetics and immunology and his research focused on immulogical regulators.
