ICT Application in College Libraries of Burdwan (Sadar), West Bengal

The college library today is revolutionized with the advancement of Information Technology. The book tells about the situation of IT application and related manpower problem in government-aided general degree colleges of Burdwan Sadar (N & S), West Bengal. It also tells the history of automation efforts in govt.-aided general degree colleges of Burdwan Sadar (N & S). To compile this book a questionnaire based survey had done in the year 2008. The book will be helpful to the students of Library and Information science and working college librarian.

Dr. Arup Kumar Mondal ist ein Bibliothekar des Syamsundar College. Er hat mehr als 11 Jahre Erfahrung als Bibliothekar in Schulen und Hochschulen. Im Jahr 2001 erwarb er einen MBA. Die Universität von Burdwan verlieh ihm 2005 die Goldmedaille im Fach MLIS. Er schloss 2008 den M.Phil. ab und promovierte 2015 in LIS an der B.U. Er veröffentlichte 16 Artikel in Fachzeitschriften.
