The evolution of our culture is reflected in the library. It is the only resource that can successfully support higher-level education. Library development is a crucial aspect of modern society's communication pattern, and it has evolved with the introduction of information technology. Information and Communication Technology has revolutionized the way libraries function and how users' access and interact with information resources. The libraries adapt to the ever-evolving technological landscape, it is crucial to understand the implications of these changes on the diverse needs and behaviours of their users. Information technology has altered how academic libraries manage information in recent years. Library and information services have undergone rapid and dynamic changes due to ICT implementation, impacting the selection, acquisition, and transfer of information processes. Introducing new services in libraries actually means in the first place implementing electronic services. This is not restricted to the electronic collection but covers online access and delivery and all reference, support, and training options that help users in the electronic information world.
