ICT Projects in Public Services

The dramatic influence of information technology will continue to determine the competitive posture of virtually all businesses in most countries of the world. IT research has continually shown that companies have difficulty with IT projects. One example is the Standish Group's study of 30,000 IT application projects in United States of America companies (The Standish Group, 2001:34).Most software development projects fail because of challenges within the team running them.
