Illustration Through Machine

This project is to visualize the automated plate cutting operation using plasma cutter. The main idea behind it, is about to let the machine does all the understanding of a human being in interpreting a Solidworks drawing. It will discuss on how a neutral dxf file play the role as the interchange format file to convey the instruction to the machine (cutter).

Norazura Abd. Rahim obtained her Master of Science (MSc) in Information Technology - Manufacturing from the University of Technology Malaysia in 2008. Currently, she is a tutor and a PhD student at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Malaya, Malaysia. Her recent research area is in Digital Evidence.
