Immediate Implant Placement

Placement of implants immediately following extraction has now become an increasingly common strategy to preserve bone and reduce treatment time. On one hand, it shortens treatment time and can improve esthetics because the soft tissue envelope is preserved. Dental implants are a popular and effective way to replace missing teeth . The development and use of implants is one of the biggest advances in dentistry in the last few decades. But with the complicated and challenging clinical situations encountered in the general practice, an ideal replacement of the lost tissues using the conventional techniques may not be always possible.
