Immunosuppression in dogs infected with Trypanosoma cruzi

Macrophage distribution and tissue alterations in the heart and spinal cord of dogs inoculated with metacyclic or blood forms of the Berenice-78 strain of Trypanosoma cruzi subjected to immunosuppression during the acute phase of infection. Thesis submitted to the Postgraduate Programme in Biological Sciences of the Biological Sciences Research Centre at the Federal University of Ouro Preto, as part of the requirements for obtaining a Master's Degree in Biological Sciences, specialising in Protozoan Immunoparasitology.
