Impact investing

This paper is a study of the relationship of social impact investments to economic growth and human development.Many investors are now beginning to think not only about how to get a faster return on their investments, but also about the social impact they are having. The market for impact investing continues to grow rapidly: both the number of transactions and the amount of invested capital are increasing.The theoretical part discusses the history of social impact investing, the principles of socially responsible investing, its profitability, as well as its impact on economic growth and human development. The practical part analyzes the data set presented by B Corps certified impact investing and the development of impact investing in Russia on the example of the Rostov Region.Further study of impact investing and its development in Russia will help investors get a good return on investment with a social effect.
