Impact of Cross Cultural Training on Perceived Success of Expatriates
Details
"Success" is a thing which is desired by everyone. However, a proper direction is needed to become successful. Success of Expatriates is very important for Multinational companies (MNCs) because MNCs invest a huge amount in establishment of foreign subsidiaries and posting staff there. The employees who are sent to run foreign subsidiaries are required to be successful for success of companies. On the other hand, "Cultural Shock" which usually fails new Expatriates in host country, is inversely proportional to the Success of Expatriates. Benefit of any training should justify its cost. Hence, this book is useful not only for Trainers, Training Managers and HR Managers but also for Expatriates themselves who are sent or being sent on overseas assignments of Multinational Companies. With a case study of an important IT organization, this book is aimed to provide the basic knowledge to prevent the failure by alleviating ratio of pre-mature return of expatriates and hence to save severe losses of MNCs
