Details

Broiler manure and N.P.K. fertilization remained the best treatment for maximum net fish production Overall ranking of six fish species for weights and total lengths under all the five treatments remained for C. idella. Some sort of competition between the two groups to the same type of food due to almost identical or overlapping feeding habits was noticed. The overall biomass conversion efficiencies under the influence of T2, T3 and T4 and between T1 and T5 were statistically similar. However, the best (0.40) efficiency was observed under feed supplementation (T1) which was due perhaps to the direct utilization of artificial feed by the fish.
