This book give an idea about the behavior of brackish bivalves of commercial importance and green algae that grow together in the same environment after exposure to polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons pollutants mainly gasoline. This book also highlights on the xenobiotic-resistance mechanism in these biota for detoxification of this pollutant. This gave rise to the living organisms that mimic the environment in terms of water pollution. So, the countries can treat pollution early and get rid of it immediately.
