Impact of Globalisation and Technology on women agricultural labourers

The term globalization refers to the integration of economies of the world through uninhibited trade and financial flows, as also through mutual exchange of technology and knowledge. In India, around 120 million are women among the total population who live predominantly in abysmal poverty in rural areas. The gender composition of agricultural wage labour is changing significantly in the era of globalization.
