Impact of globalization on developing economies. Nigeria, a case study

The study was conducted to determine the impact of globalization on the Nigeria economy. The integration of global market and powerful cost-reducing technological changes are the activities represented by globalization. The data used in this research were secondary data. The collected data was analysis using regression method. The finding from the research serves as an attempt to evaluate the impact of globalization on economic growth in Nigeria.Globalization process offers a wide range of opportunities in terms of economic growth and development to all countries that move along as effective participants. The process can bring immense benefits to the countries that are able to harness the opportunities. Nigeria is a part and parcel of the globalization process and a reversal is not imminent. Thus, Nigeria's deviation from the trend would render her survival indeterminate.
