Impact of ISO 9001:2008 on Information Auditing in Universities

This work is of advanced university-level in content. It is tailored for teaching and learning in Quality Assurance and ISO 9001 Standard practices in University Libraries. It can also be used as a guide to Internal ISO 9001 Quality Auditors, Implementors, University Top Managers, Education Planners, and General Readership. More specifically this work is tailored for University Librarians who have implemented ISO 9001 Standard in their libraries. The work is a case study work that can be built on and cannot be deemed to be conclusive but it allows for more research to be carried out to confirm or vary the opinion on the findings.

I have worked as Librarian since 1994 to date in Academic University Libraries raising through the ranks until my current senior managerial level as Pwani university librarian. I have an earned Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Kenyatta University. I am an ISO 9001 Std Quality Auditor and an Information Science Consultant.
