In this book, self-healing capability of glass fiber reinforced composite laminate is demonstrated by recording its behavioral changes in the presence of a minor indentation damage. Self-healing ability is a property of a material by virtue of which it can heal itself. The material has been fabricated by including two types of microcapsules which contain resin and hardener systems. The formation of microcapsules and fabrication of composite laminate is also covered.

Kanu Priya Jhanji obteve o seu mestrado em Engenharia Aeronáutica em 2013. Tem várias publicações de investigação em compósitos e aerodinâmica; Amit Kumar Das concluiu o seu mestrado em Engenharia Aeronáutica em 2012 e é autor de vários artigos técnicos na área da aerodinâmica e dos compósitos.
