Impact of oil spills on the environment

The oil industry with all its activities and operations is growing in the areas of research and production of hydrocarbons, resulting in sources of pollution (accidental and chronic) for the environment that can influence the ecological balance and lead to the destruction of ecosystems. Among the sources of pollution in Hassi Messaoud, hydrocarbons spilled into the environment by processing centers and during the realization of drilling. The goal is to study the impact of oil spills on the environment (man, the atmosphere, the water table, fauna and flora). Note that the study concerns exactly the field of the TFT group. The results showed that there is still a small liquid quantity of the discharges which infiltrate in the water table in spite of the treatments.
