In today's competitive world, skilled workforce is an asset which has to be leveraged for enhancing organizational performance. There are numerous possibilities for human resources to look for better opportunities elsewhere, which reduces the overall performance of the organization. The organization has to make pro active efforts to retain people as retention is a crucial issue in a BPO firm.This research is designed to study the nature, state and the critical factors influencing organisational commitment leading to high employee attrition in the BPO companies located in the Coimbatore.The research is designed in such a way to collect data and analyse them by selected parameters of HR practices that leads to the outcome of organisational commitment and impact on attrition, this will enable the BPO companies to make some rational decisions in introducing HR strategies with respect to employee responses and research findings.
