Impact of Supply Chain Management in Manufacturing Sector of Pakistan

Supply chain management is a topical and contemporary issue due to China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project in Pakistan.The scope and importance of supply chain management cannot be denied in the manufacturing sector all over the globe. The world's most leading manufacturing firms have a strong and affective supply chain management system which helps all those firms to become the worlds' best leading firms. Due to the globalization the competition among the firms, rivalry is also significantly increased. The firms pay a lot of attention to publicize their products and spend a lot of money in order to remain and become the leading firm in their sector. In this work all the variables which accumulate the supply chain management are studied within PAKISTANI firm's context. It is well known that Pakistan has a major share in world's cotton market. Thus, the research has been done in the manufacturing sector of Pakistan targeting the cotton manufacturing sector.
