Implementation of a Safety Management System, Lincuna SAC 2017

Fatal accidents in the mining sector in Peru will always be the statistical indexes that are intended to decrease for the coming years, since 1998, the national entities responsible in charge of this sector have been encouraging the different companies and companies committed to this economic activity to be certified with the current standards in the field of Occupational Health and Safety Management in order to reduce fatal accidents, ensuring that the main national productive activity is at the height of international quality standards. This research work is a contribution for all professionals involved in the Safety and Occupational Health Areas of their company or company in the mining sector, in which the problematic reality of a large mining company located in the highlands of Peru is analyzed and, based on it, the Occupational Safety and Health Management System was designed. This phenomenon is a global paradigm that seeks to protect the most valuable resource of any economic activity: the human being.
