Bio-Medical Technology is the technological application for measuring, diagnosing, and treating medical issues. Computational imaging is the processing technique that combines computation and optical encoding. Many techniques have been incorporated to advance bio-medical Technology and computational imaging is one such technique that makes bio-medical Technology a paradigm shift. The computational techniques using biomedical images are very useful in medical science for the detection of diseases in human body organs. By incorporating other advanced techniques like artificial intelligence and machine learning into computational imaging the diagnosis process becomes more efficient and accurate. AI-based methods can provide automated tools for detecting diseases. Machine learning approaches can then be used for medical image classification, medical image segmentation, severity assessment of disease, and other possible tasks based on extracted features. At the outset, computational imaging is the boom for bio-medical technology. This monograph explicitly describes the implementation of computational imaging in bio-medical technology.
