The province of East Kalimantan has been designated as the site of the new capital city of the Republic of Indonesia. Likewise, a study of potential progress and problems that may occur must be carried out to obtain absolute preparations. Likewise, regional, social, cultural, and economic readiness must be a concern in preparing the new capital city of the Republic of Indonesia. East Kalimantan is one of the largest provinces on the island of Borneo. The development of East Kalimantan is supported by the mining and forestry industries. In addition, wealth in the field of culture is also one of the strengths possessed by East Kalimantan. Kalimantan is mostly Dayak and immigrants from Java, Sundanese, Bugis, etc. This law will regulate the governance better governance of the national capital city in terms of government and spatial planning dimensions and the environment.
