Okra is a popular vegetable in Indian subcontinent and worldwide, the edible part of okra is its green seed pods which are consumed as food after cooking. Okra is a good source of nutrition and is rich source of Vita. C, Vita. A, Vita B-6, Magnesium, Calcium, Potassium and Iron, it also contains appropriate amount of Carbohydrates, dietary fiber, Protein and Sodium. Okra contains 0% of cholesterol and very low amount of fat therefore it is also a popular diet food.Organic fertilizers provide high amount of organic matter (Carbon) to microorganisms present in the soil, organic matter provided helps in the growth of the population of micro-organisms which accelerates the physical, chemical and biological activities within soil and also provide moderate amount of nutrients to the soil which are further utilized by crop cultivated for its growth and development. Biofertilizers improve C:N ratio of soil fix atmospheric nitrogen in the soil, make phosphorus in available form by solubilizing it in the soil, Increase the population of beneficial micro-organisms population in the soil which further improves the absorption of nutrients by plant and improve the water holding capacity of soil.
