Improving Production of Plants by Fertigation

To all those interested in the future of agriculture in the world. Fertigation means irrigation plus fertilization which can be done through buried or surface drip-lines or through sprinklers.In a fertigation system, the timing, amounts, concentrations and ratios of the nutrients are easily controlled. Due to this improved control, crop yields are larger than those produced by a simple fertilizer application and irrigation system. Fertigation is the technique of using soluble fertilizer to supply essential nutrients to plants through the irrigation system. Fertigation, can minimized the losses by leaching and/or volatilization because the nutrients are directly supplied into the root zone in small amount and frequently according to the needs of each growth period.
