The book presents details about "Burnishing Process", which is a cold forming finishing process done after machining. It is the masters thesis work. Burnishing process helps to improve surface finish as well as micro hardness in one step; which makes it unique for engineering applications in finishing such as for hydraulic and pneumatic sealing in valves, pistons and cylinders. The experimental part is presented using Taguchi's Design of experiments and orthogonal arrays using MINITAB software. Chandrashekhar Jawalkar es profesor de Producción e Ingeniería Industrial en la Universidad Tecnológica PEC de Chandigarh desde 2003. Ha trabajado en la industria durante siete años como Director de Producción. Ha realizado un doble máster en Ingeniería y Gestión y un doctorado en el IIT de Roorkee. Ha publicado 3 libros y más de 70 artículos de investigación.
