This book explores facets of impulse and vision in the poetry of Enekwe and Eghagha. It exposes the causes and effects of class schisms in African societies with specific focus on the Nigerian sosiety. It seeks a direct, radical and violent response and reaction as panacea to the seeds of disequilibrium in the society. The aesthetic bravura displayed by the poets serves to awaken in the masses, the perpetual urge to throw off the yoke of oppression placed on them by oppressive leaders.
