IMS based IPTV

In the last few years the consumer needs have changed significantly. Users want to be mobile and use the different services everywhere and at any time. One of these services is also IPTV. Currently, NGN which was defined by TISPAN and 3GPP is a hot topic. It can also be used to offer IPTV services. They are two different ways to do this. One solution is intended for the telecommunication operators which support an IMS. The other solution is more appropriate for independent IPTV service providers. The future of the IPTV is certainly very interesting topic and it can be expected that especially telecommunication operators will push new developments in this field.
