In the Bilingual Classroom

Bilingual Education is a wide field of learning and teaching, but also of research. Different concepts joined together under the term CLIL are important parts of the European school systems. In Austria the term "Englisch als Arbeitssprache" (EAA; English as a working language) was coined in the 90ies, but the implementation today differs from school to school. This book concentrates on higher education in the Tyrol. Students and teachers have been questioned about their "bilingual situation". The work therefore offers interesting insights on the evalution of Bilingual Education by the people concerned. Results, which are important for the future development of Bilingual Education...
