Inculturation

To promote the inculturation of the liturgy for all, thanks to the mystagogical method, is the objective pursued by the author in this book. Inculturation as a way of evangelization is not the privilege of theological specialists alone, but the heritage of the whole Church. All have a right to information about the inculturation of the liturgy, and all have a right to the necessary formation in liturgy and inculturation.Written in a concise style, this book is intended as a methodological contribution to the African theology of liturgy, to the African way of doing liturgy and living liturgy. It intends to offer the public a key to the interpretation and dissemination of liturgical texts and rites so as to enable them to grasp their significance. The key in question is mystagogy, today considered as the Lectio divina of the liturgy, a way of reading and understanding the liturgy, of praying and living the liturgy.
