India - Nepal Relations

The relationship between India & Nepal dates to history, and it was said that it even goes back to the period of Ramayana. Like every relationship, their relationship, too, has highs and lows. The present volume discusses the history of bilateral relations, describes the socio-cultural links from the ancient to the recent, and examines the security concerns of India and Nepal. Further, in the book, analyses were made on the impact of Maoism on the India and Nepal relationship, investigated the problems faced by India and Nepal like terrorism, human and drug trafficking, and the role of China on the bilateral relationship. The author has analyzed the economic relationship between India and Nepal, described the role of India and Nepal in SAARC, NAM, and UNO, and stressed the prospects of bilateral relations between India and Nepal.
